Mit Messer bewaffneter Mann angeschossen in Pulaski County

Pulaski County, Indiana – Dash camera video released this week shows the tense moments leading up to a March 28 fatal police shooting. The video, released to the Journal & Courier after a public record request, shows 36-year-old Peter J. Doffin jump from his wrecked vehicle and charge officers with a knife in his right hand, ignoring their screams to show his hands and get on the ground. Several gunshots ring out just as Doffin disappears to the left side of the dash camera’s frame, followed by the sounds of gasps and an officer calling in „shots fired“ to dispatchers. Prior to the shooting, Doffin led police on a winding, low-speed pursuit through five counties. After more than an hour, Doffin’s SUV can be seen riding on two rims and shooting sparks into the road after he drove over several sets of stop sticks. The chase began about 5 a.m. when police said Doffin abducted his daughter from her Warren County home; it ended when a semi forced his vehicle off the right side of U.S. 421 in Pulaski County, several miles north of Monon. Pulaski County Prosecutor Daniel Murphy reviewed the footage, recorded from Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Deputy Jodi Rohler’s cruiser, along with a 195-page report compiled by Indiana State Police to exonerate the four officers involved in the shooting. In addition to Rohler, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputy Branson Eber, Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Deputy Jon Eads and Monon Town Marshal Roger Young fired the fatal shots. Pulaski County Coroner John Behny confirmed Doffin died from blood loss due to multiple gunshot wounds. Doffin’s death came less than two years after another multi-county chase and deadly officer-involved shooting roughly three miles south on U.S. 421. In April 2015, a suspect in an Illinois robbery, car-jacking and kidnapping was fatally shot by two Indiana State Police troopers and two Tippecanoe County sheriff’s deputies after he pointed a firearm at them. 💲💲💲 Help Raw Leak finance his website : https://www.patreon.com/rawleak 👌 Amazon Best Selling Products ➜ http://amzn.to/2iwgajk 👍 Raw Leak’s Facebook ➜ https://www.facebook.com/rawleak 👉 Raw Leak’s Community Server ➜ https://discord.gg/uxrz6pK 🔥 Raw Leak’s Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/tharealsatan ✋ About the video / Community guidelines ✋ This footage is NOT intended to be violent or glorify violence in any way.
